Pool Safely

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission has its Pool Safely campaign to educate on safe pool swimming and water watcher practices. We were tasked with developing an educational and interactive app game experience that could be downloaded in the app stores. At the time they had short videos on their site using the Splish and Splash characters. Using those characters as a jumping point the team created a game with 20 levels of various different pool situations with Splish as the lifeguard/water watcher and the tricky Splash as both violations and non-violations in and around the pool. This was a huge illustration undertaking developing not only the intricate levels but also thinking through the character movements and using the Spine software to bring them to life.
